FCL is committed to providing an unparalleled soccer experience for any player with an interest in the game of soccer. FCL promotes the spirit of sportsmanship, the essence of competition and the importance of learning and developing. FCL accepts the responsibilities of teaching life lessons to FCL athletes to further their development on and off the field. . FCL is committed to making soccer challenging, safe and a rewarding experience for everyone involved, regardless of age or ability. We believe that all players are important because everyone is afforded an equal opportunity to explore their potential to pursue positive outcomes on and off the field. Through quality coaching and purposeful leadership, FCL will strive to be one of the best clubs in the state and nation.

The Team Branch of FCL is divided into two levels, Elite & Premier. Both divisions are for players from U9 to U18. There will be an Elite (first team,) and a Premier (second team), level in each age group.

It is FCL’s intention to establish two teams within in age group to afford an appropriate number of players to develop technically, tactically, physically, and emotionally. Having the ability to move players up and down within each age group, as well as beyond their age group will enable us to challenge all players appropriately throughout their developmental years.

The Developmental Branch is divided into two levels, Soccer Juniors and The Academy. Soccer Juniors and Academy programs exists to allow any player, irrespective of ability, the opportunity to develop. The Soccer Juniors program will begin at age two with the focus being on introducing kids and parents to the pure enjoyment of soccer. It is FCL’s goal to ensure that every kid who participates in Soccer Juniors associates the sport with FUN. During this phase of learning, it is essential that kids learn the fundamentals of sport without the pressure of competition, the importance of uniforms and the ultimate goal of winning trophies.

The Academy’s primary focus will be to afford players from ages 5-18, additional opportunities to develop technically. A weakness in many American born and developed soccer players is their technical play and the Academy will be committed to providing both the expert instruction and necessary repetition
