Goalkeeping Academy

The Goalkeeping Academy Training Session is one of many programs that FCL has to offer our members & non-members. It is designed for premier or travel players of all abilities ages 11-18.  The course syllabus is based on our Player Development Model worked on over a six- to eight-week period. Our objective is to provide an environment where committed goalkeepers, of all ages, will be motivated & can develop a true working understanding of the position. All goalkeepers will gain a better understanding of their physical strengths and what role these play in 'their' game.

Our youngest age, less experienced, goalkeepers will be guided properly, because they have different physical, psychological and technical needs than elite players. Goalkeepers at this level are guided with emphasis on technical perfection, proper fundamentals and the beginnings of tactical awareness.
This action-packed program will focus on the FC LEHIGH Development Model, with use of state of the art training equipment. Each player will be challenged to learn the little nuances of the game to help them gain an edge on their opponent.
